Our mission is to provide adult and youth recreational and childcare programs that promote physical health and spiritual growth. We want to provide programs focused on fun, fellowship and faith.

Description

The PARC (Perry Abernathy Recreation Center) is a non-profit, faith-based recreation center serving the community of Sugar Land. The PARC offers recreational programs such as children and youth basketball, girls volleyball, after school childcare and summer day camps. We are focused on providing a league based on fun, fellowship and faith. The priority is not on wins and losses, but the on positive development of the players.

The program that the PARC has is fantastic. I am a Kinesiology Major and I absolutely loved working with the PARC. They create an environment for learning and self-reflection that aids in helping young women gain confidence. The focus is always on having fun! Which is very important in 6-8th graders. If you love coaching, I highly recommend volunteering!
