Ablelight is a national leader in providing homes and support, promoting awareness and advocating for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Operating at program locations across the United States, we are a Christian non-profit organization that succeeds through the passion of our employees, contractors, donors and volunteers who make a difference every day in the lives of those we support.

Ablelights spectrum of services continues to evolve as we strive to reflect the needs of the people and families we support, which in recent years has focused on independence and community inclusion. Our organization is proud to be a change agent in implementing forward-thinking solutions that improve the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Volunteering to help support Bethesda's Thrift Shops, which help to fund programs and services for people with developmental disabilities has been truly rewarding!

Good friendly people to work with. It is a help to those who shop with a limited budget and the proceeds help those with disabilities.
