Description

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraising event and it represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated. The event is designed as a community engagement event and provides everyone in Magnolia with an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer.

Relay For Life happens all over the United States and in 19 countries around the globe making this the largest non-profit fundraising event in the world. Individuals from neighborhoods, businesses, or families gather together and form teams. The teams raise money throughout the year and have on-site fundraising the night of the event, giving Relay a fair-type environment. All the money raised at Relay For Life remains in Montgomery County and is used to support research, education, advocacy, and patient services.
