The USO South Carolina creates countless everyday moments for 100,000 troops and military families annually throughout the state.
At our center at the Columbia Metropolitan Airport, troops and their families can make themselves at home by enjoying complimentary snacks, beverages, XBox gaming stations, computers, free WIFI and televisions. Troops and military families will also find friendly faces of nearly 100 volunteers who go above and beyond to make our guests feel at home and to provide directions and assistance as needed.
Our center at McCrady Training Center provides a place to decompress and relax for troops after long days of training. Amenities include pool tables, a ping pong table, theater style seating, computers to connect with families back home, and the United through Reading program.
At our center at MEPS Fort Jackson, applicants joining all branches of the military have a place to relax while they are waiting for paperwork, testing and medical. Our game room has complimentary snacks and beverages, Xbox gaming stations, board games, and movies. Our family room has a coffee station, TV and couches to relax while they wait for their applicant to swear in. Volunteers must have a valid military ID to volunteer at this location.
