Volunteers contribute anywhere from a few hours a month to over 40 hours a week serving in their communities. Opportunities to serve include volunteering at local hospitals and nursing homes, schools, food pantries, public safety programs, and other nonprofit agencies and organizations. I went in to personally put in application and they said they didn't need anyone at this time. With no explanation

I enjoyed my first volunteer experience with RSVP assembling Emergency Preparedness Kits for homebound seniors. The best thing about being involved with RSVP is that you get so many opportunities to work with different organizations and nonprofits: Red Cross, ProAction, libraries, schools, SPCA, Catholic Charities, and even the Glen Curtis Museum! RSVP is a one stop spot for everything that you want to do as a volunteer. :)
