OASIS serves mature adults age 50 and over. Membership is free and most courses have minimal fees.
OASIS offers three twelve-week trimesters. Some courses are one session - while others run the entire trimester. We also offer day trips that help participants discover the cultural treasures of Southern California.
The Westide OASIS' offices and classrooms are on the 3rd floor of Macy's in the Westside Pavilion, 10730 W. Pico Blvd. OASIS also offers some classes at outreach sites. OASIS is a program of Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles and is sponsored by the Los Angeles Department of Aging.
Mission Statement
OASIS is a national nonprofit educational organization designed to enhance the quality of life for mature adults. Offering challenging programs in the arts, humanities, wellness, technology and volunteer service, OASIS creates opportunities for adults age 50 and over to continue their personal growth and provide meaningful service to the community.
