Description
The National Wildlife Federation (NWF) is America’s largest conservation organization. Our mission is to inspire Americans to protect wildlife for our children’s future. Established in 1936, NWF works with more than 4 million members and supporters and 49 affiliate organizations that value clean air, clean water, abundant wildlife, and healthy natural resources. Our overall efforts focus on three strategic goals: connecting people with nature, confronting climate change, and protecting and restoring wildlife habitats.
NWF’s South Central Region covers 12 states along the Gulf Coast and into the Midwest. Our regional work focuses on protecting and restoring healthy rivers and estuaries, conserving wetlands, springs and aquifers, protecting wildlife habitats, and connecting both children and adults with the natural world.
Our South Central Region includes Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas.
