Screened, trained volunteers provide free services to seniors such as helpful visits, telephone reassurance calls, escorts to doctor appointments, grocery shopping, friendly help around the home, caregiver relief, correspondence assistance, and referrals to other programs that assist older adults.
Mission Statement
Alle-Kiski Faith in Action, a United Way of Westmoreland County Initiative, is a program that seeks to enhance the quality of life for persons 60 years and older who reside in Lower and Upper Burrell by providing volunteer companionship and assistance.
