Description

The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club: A safe-haven for youth in Church Hill, the Club is a collaboration between The Salvation Army and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America providing more than 500 members with warm meals,
recreation, education and development programs.
Christmas Assistance: The Army celebrates the holidays each year by providing gifts for children and individuals in need. This program provides toys, clothing, food, coats and shoes to families in the area.
Emergency Disaster Service: Provides compassion, food, clothing, shelter, medical supplies and more to victims and emergency workers of natural or manmade disasters.
Emergency Shelter Services: Provides emergency shelter for up to 55 men, women and children.
Family Services Programs: Provides food, clothing and financial assistance for rent/mortgage and utility payments for those in need.
Richmond Citadel Corps: The worship center of The Salvation Army, the Corps provides spiritual guidance and outreach to those in need.
Community Education Center: The Tri-Cities Service Center in Petersburg offers classes in Reading Literacy, Basic Computer, Keyboarding, Job Search, Resume Writing, GED Preparation, Financial Wellness, Free Money Coupons, MS Excel, or PowerPoint.
