The Arc serves over 2,800 persons through 25 "special project" programs. The Arc provides these individual comprehensive services: Self-Advocates; Family Support Groups; In-service training; Case Management; Information & Referral. The Arc also serves over 200 children with developmental disabilities in the YOUTH EDUCATION & SUMMER SOCIALIZATION (YESS) PROGRAM. This ground-breaking project is setting the standard nationwide for integrative programming.
Mission Statement
The Arc of Sedgwick County is committed to securing for all people with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities the opportunity to choose and realize their goals of where and how they learn, live work and play.
