ReStore Volunteer and Donation Specialists

Our re-store generates a great deal of funding for local families in need of homes. It also serves the community by providing low priced merchandise. We are VERY busy and need help every day. The work is not always glamorous but it is for a worthy cause. You will be sorting and pricing goods and clothing for our store and boutique, and helping arrange our shelves and display areas. We also need help in our appliance barn and with furniture arrivals and drop off donations. There are lots of fun volunteers to work with, and you will meet our families who are working their 'sweat equity' hours to become home owners. All workers should be over 18. Minors aged 16-18 can work if accompanied by parent/guardian, for 2 hours only each time. We are open Tue- Sat, 9-5, and you can choose your own days and hours. We are glad of your help any time you can come! We are presently really busy and in urgent need of new volunteers. Individuals needed: Like to work outdoors and enjoy physical work? Help us to build homes for families in need of affordable housing in our community. Join our enthusiastic team and learn how to build a house. We work year round -come any day you are available. Newcomers always welcome. No skills required, we will teach you; however, building wood frame skills & experience would be very welcomed. Every house completed raises the funds for 1 house in a third world country! We build on Tue, Thur and Sat, 8-12. MUST BE 18. OR: Join us as a group . Bring your group to Team Build for a half day. No skills necessary. We construct, paint, landscape and dig to build homes for those in need in our area. Locations are in New Smyrna Beach, 32168 and Edgewater, 32132,32141 Help us improve the lives of families, as we provide safe, decent and affordable shelter for the many in need in our area. Building is ongoing throughout the year. We also have Critical Home Repair, Disaster Recovery and Brush with Kindness programs. Join our team as we repair homes in the community. Thank You!

We are a Christain ministry whose mission is to work in parnership with the communities of SE Volusia to create decent, affordable homes in need of repair for God's people in need.

Description

Please bring your group to help us build or repair affordable, self sustaining homes for people whose homes are unstable, or help us fund these projects.

Over 18's can help construct homes, younger people can assist in painting, landcaping, sod laying, trench building, and helping in our re-store. We also need occasional help with fundraisers and events.

We have projects year round, and welcome groups and individuals.

Guaranteed hard work, camaraderie, and worthwhile help to our community.
