The Domestic Abuse Council, Inc. was incorporated under the laws of the State of Florida on December 7, 1976 for the purpose of providing emergency shelter and assistance for victims of domestic violence in Volusia and Flagler counties. Services are provided through the Emergency Shelter Program, Transitional Housing Program, Children's Education/Advocacy Program, Family Violence Batterer's Intervention Program, Case Management, Community Education & Professional Training Program, individual and Group Education, Legal and Court Advocacy Programs.
