The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) is the world's leading nonprofit organization leading the fight for food allergy awareness, education, and research. TheFAAN Walk for Food Allergy: Moving Toward A Cure raises funds that are vitally needed to support FAAN's mission.
In three years, FAAN has raised more than $2 million from Walk events! By increasing the number of locations, FAAN hopes to raise another $2 million in 2007. When you contribute to FAAN you are helping us further our mission. Eighty-one cents of every dollar is spent on innovative research and programs that help give families struggling with food allergies a fighting chance.
By volunteering, you can touch the lives of family, friends, co-workers, and anyone else in your community who lives with food allergies.
FAAN's Walk for Food Allergy depends on volunteers like you to recruit sponsors, individual walkers, and teams as well as organize the event and help it run smoothly! We need people to contribute their valuable time by serving as a Committee Participant or a Day of Event Volunteer.
Committee Participants
Join a group of volunteers to organize one key event function such as logistics, sponsorship, publicity, or recruitment.
Day of Event Volunteers
When Walk day finally arrives, there are many ways you can help as an integral part of the FAAN Walk for Food Allergy.

To raise public awareness, to provide advocacy and education, and to advance research on behalf of all those affected by food allergies and anaphylaxis.
