Description

Happy Haven Farm and Sanctuary (HHFS) is a dual purpose non-profit, serving as both an animal centered healing ranch and full time sanctuary for a number of unwanted animals deemed "unadoptable" by other rescues for a variety of reasons. On occasion we have select animals available for adoption to the right forever home.

We are an animal centered healing ranch for children, returning military and their families; however anyone with a need is welcome. The sanctuary animals are a vital part of our healing program as oftentimes a shared "brokenness" helps facilitate growth and healing in both parties. We currently have four programs under HHFS: the Black and Tabby Inn feline program, Hannah’s Hope canine program, Liberty Horse equine program, and Neshamah sanctuary program. At present, Liberty Horse is our most developed animal centered healing program while the feline and canine programs are more concentrated on rescue, rehabilitation and adoption .

Currently living at the farm are many horses at varying degrees of trust and education. We have dogs well equipped for therapy, along with cats, ducks, llamas, chickens, goats and peacocks. When possible, Happy Haven Farm takes in injured, helpless, homeless, or generally unwanted animals.
