Mission Statement

Our mission is to educate, empower and support the positive development of young people in a way that engages their natural innovation and creativity to create healthy, just and sustainable communities. We are committed to developing quality programs and services which will contribute to the meeting of needs for our elders in the Brazoria County community; and to serve as a bridge to other services for those age 55 years and over.

Description

The FMBC Community Development Center intends to equip Brazoria County youth with the skills that will help address the mountain of challenges ahead of them and to become active citizens that work to improve the Brazoria County community. We will promote "Healthy Aging" by providing an opportunity for the productive and satisfying use of leisure time; to create an environment where individual differences and needs are recognized for our elders in the Brazoria County community.
