Mission
Founded in 1978, we are a nonprofit organization, a 501 (c)(3), dedicated to speech and hearing health care.
Since opening our first clinic 36 years ago, all patients needing our care have received it regardless of their ability to pay. All our patients -- from newborns to senior adults -- receive the finest diagnostic services, treatment counseling, rehabilitation, and one-on-one personal care.
This mission -- to serve all who need us -- distinguishes us in the greater marketplace of speech-and-hearing health care. We believe in this mission and follow it faithfully.
Description
When you choose Sertoma Speech & Hearing Center, the money you invest in hearing or speech is sent right back into our operations -- not a single penny goes to sales commissions or bonuses.
We use our income for advanced training, new technologies, and to help others less fortunate get the professional services they need to live productive, satisfying lives.
The same goes for any gifts of money we receive, grants, and income from events we host to underwrite our mission -- right back into operations to help people communicate better.
Make no mistake, we’re an efficient, modern, health-care organization that earns its way. But as a
501 (c)(3) nonprofit, we're structured differently than for-profit businesses so that we can do more.
That’s why we’re here -- to serve all who need us.
