We are a fine arts studio that supplies space, materials, and support to 18 artists Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am and 2 PM. Our staff work directly with our artists to facilitate and/or support their process, but they also work with the community to provide venues for exhibitions and submit proposals for exhibitions on behalf of our artists.
Arts of Life studio also has a small, organic, music program that began in our space with a couple of instruments for a jam session and has grown to include a variety of instruments and volunteer musicians to facilitate and/or support any of our artists who are interested in becoming musicians. Our music program is currently being held each Wednesday at Reversible Eye Gallery, a community gallery in the Humboldt park neighborhood. This space is equipped with a variety of instruments and a sound system that they donate weekly to our collective. We have just released our first album. http://www.myspace.com/artsoflifeband
