The Lawrenceville Housing Authority provides quality, affordable housing opportunities to clients, while foster economic independence, through the responsible stewardship of public funds.

Description

The Housing Authority of the City of Lawrenceville (LHA) was established on May 8, 1950 and was funded through the Housing Act of 1937 for the purpose of providing decent, safe, and sanitary housing to the low-income citizens of Lawrenceville and the surrounding areas.

Since it's establishment, LHA has developed 9 housing sites with a total of 212 public housing units. Most residents served by the Housing Authority ar elderly and working families.

LHA is designated as a "high performing agency" by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and is committed to serving all of our residents, participants, and the public in a manner consistent with the principles of respect, fairness, and equity.
