Mission Statement

To expand public awareness of social and environmental injustices, inspire independent thought, and produce media forms in collaboration with community members in order to create opportunity for positive collective action.

Description

Media Action Network acts as an umbrella, encompassing efforts in a variety of projects. Currently our main focus is the medes, an online volunteer run social justice magazine. We publish academic articles, photo collections and video shorts on a weekly basis. We have readership worldwide. Our other focus is our growing media production effort. We help spread the mission of fellow nonprofits via various media forms such as web series, promotional videos and graphic design.
