Volunteers are members of a team that are dedicated to offering their skills, unique abilities and time without pay to the Belmont Library. Volunteers are rewarded by learning new skills that support public library services and by working with library staff and members of the community. Volunteers provide a vital link between the library and the community by bringing valuable community and cultural input to library staff. Volunteers are advocates for the library that can raise awareness of library services and stimulate support for library programs in the community.
