Back home I use to mentor students in music programs and even tutored I often give advice and I can even tell them about other opportunities other than college if they can't afford college like the military. I have experience with the fasfa and other educational opportunities such as college sports and academics as well

Volunteering at Restore Education is, without a doubt, one of the best decisions I have ever made. The staff is incredible, and their dedication to the community shows in the staggering numbers they put out. Even with such a substantial number of success stories, each student is given an individualized lesson plan, coupled with one-on-one tutoring from a committed group of volunteer tutors. In just over a month, I have interacted with easily 100 students; while some have shown substantial improvement, all have shown progress and a desire to learn and grow. This is not just an opportunity for the students, however; the experience one gains from sitting with peeps from all backgrounds to facilitate their learning process and personal transformation is, without a doubt, invaluable. If you want to make an immediate, powerful, and measurable impact on the lives of the students and the community as a whole, come down to Restore Education and check it out for yourself.

Restore Education is a powerful place. It provides so many people with a safe and positive environment to further their education. I highly recommend getting involved, whether it is as a tutor or with administrative work. The staff and the students are always grateful for the help that volunteers provide, and the volunteer work is both rewarding and fun. It is really easy to see how much of a difference the work makes in other peoples' lives.

I have volunteered with this organization for about a year and a half. I love that they are flexible with my schedule and that they are very welcoming. I have tutored in math for about 8 years and Restore Education is a great place to help mentor, teach and even learn about the students and yourself. The impact of your help is the biggest reward, you see students graduate and become one step closer to their dreams. It's wonderful. The staff at Restore Education are caring and friendly. The students are motivated and hard-working. The other volunteers work together and foster team-based learning. If you want to be a part of something great and know that your effort is positively impacting the people you help, this is the place for you!
