Mission Statement

HOPE's mission is to provide comfort and encouragement through animal-assisted support to individuals affected by crises and disasters.

Description

HOPE AACR is a national, all-volunteer nonprofit which coordinates with emergency response organizations to provide Comfort Dog teams *at no cost* for anyone who needs a moment of respite, comfort, and support. We do not self-deploy, but work to develop relationships with schools, police and fire departments, emergency and disaster responders, and agencies who also provide services during crises. Call our toll-free 24-hour hotline to request our Comfort Dogs!
