Mission Statement
The CYC was started in 2006 as a place for young people to join others in an organized effort to make a positive high level impact in communities . The change that happens in a teen when they get out and help others that are in true need is a powerful testimony for the life changing power of Christ. Taking the focus off our own small problems and caring for someone else puts us back in focus and elevates our own self confidence and self worth. Building highly motivated, self reliant, and independent thinking adults. We accept donations but do not solicit them. Trying to be different and to develop character in our youth, we at the CYC work for our funding through pop can drives, selling pizza, car washes and building small projects and items that we can offer for a reasonable price to the communities which we help. The RRT or Rapid Response Team is at the core of the CYC, a group of solid young Christians, working with volunteers letting their actions show the love of Christ to communities. As the leaders of the CYC the RRT work with the CYC membership to accomplish so much while mentoring others along the way.
