The University of Michigan Health System Volunteer Services Department recruits, interview/screen and place volunteers at the University Hospital, CS Mott Children's Hospital and Women's Hospital. In addition to volunteering in patient care/patient service areas, volunteers may be placed in research and allied health areas, as well.
Mission Statement
The mission of Volunteer Services is to promote the philosophy of caring for patients and families by providing volunteers to augment the work of the University of Michigan Health System faculty and staff.
