The Muscular Dystrophy Association is a voluntary health agency -- a dedicated partnership between scientists and concerned citizens aimed at conquering neuromuscular diseases that affect more than a million Americans.
Description
Since 1950, the Muscular Dystrophy Association has provided with the most comprehensive services program of any voluntary health agency in the country.
From its district office in Eugene, MDA serves all of South Central Oregon and Northern California. Adults and children affected by neuromuscular disease, and their families, benefit from an array of services, research, and other programs.
