We provide wilderness training to youth workers with an emphasis on safety, group initiatives, and experiential learning. Then we provide FREE equipment use to BAWT trained organizations. BAWT's technique of "training the trainer" is based in the belief that youth will trust, and learn the most from those people they have established, strong relationships with community youth workers.

To provide Bay Area youth service agencies with professional training and quality equipment, so that they, along with the youth they serve, may explore the power and beauty of California's wilderness.
