About the Festival
The Search for Meaning Book Festival, held on February 15, 2014, has evolved into a signature Seattle University event. Launched in 2009, the festival feature's a veritable who's who of the literary and scholarly worlds, with best-selling authors of fiction, nonfiction, poetry and more descending on campus for a day of readings, keynote addresses and book signings. This year, more than 40+ authors will be on hand to share their latest works with festival-goers.
Who's Who of the Literary World
The Search for Meaning Book Festival has brought a distinguished list of authors to campus, from New York Times best-sellers to a Pulitzer Prize winner. Past guests include Mary Oliver, James Martin, S.J., Michael Chabon, Sherman Alexie and Anne Lamott.
