Description
The Colorado Welcome Center in Cortez is looking for volunteers to help spread the news about our great state. This is your chance to spend some time talking with visitors traveling to or through Cortez and on to other parts of the country. The center is open seven days a week and the shifts are from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm & 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm in the winter and 8:00 am to 1:00 pm & 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the summer. Knowledge of the area is a plus, but not a requirement; we will teach you all you need to know.
We average 50,000 visitors a year from as far away as Japan and Africa. The information given out is very important to the visitors and the words of welcome and the ambiance of this center gives a lasting impression to everyone that finds their way to Cortez.
