The Aldo Leopold Nature Center (ALNC), established in 1994, is an independent, non-profit organization with the mission to engage and educate current and future generations, empowering them to respect, protect and enjoy the natural world. Guided by Aldo Leopold’s land ethic, our vision is that: Engaged, educated and empowered people take action to protect the natural world and create healthy and sustainable communities.

Description

ALNC is leading the way to ensure visitors of all ages and backgrounds have opportunities to connect with nature by offering positive and constructive learning opportunities that capture their interest, engage their senses and teach them to appreciate the interconnectedness of all living things. ALNC operates two innovative nature center campuses year-round in Monona and Black Earth, WI.

Read his book. Mr. Leopold has a distinct closeness with nature and the environment. After reading his book and visiting this facility, you may want to volunteer at this facility, especially if'n your from Wisconsin.
