Foundation For Affordable Housing (FFAH)is based in Southern California.
FFAH provides affordable housing for low-income families accross three states.
We have several housing properties in San Jose and the volunteer opportunity
is located in San Jose. Within the FFAH, Our Resident Services Program
is the support system designed to conquer risk factors and foster positive
outcomes in the lives of low-income families. These services include, but not
limited to, after-school youth program, ESL classes, Computer Training, and
other programs designed to address the specific needs of the residents.
Mission Statement
We create safe, comfortable, high-quality homes that uplift the lives of our residents and enhance the surrounding neighborhoods, easing the burden on State, County, and Local Housing Authorities through the construction, acquisition, and operation of housing for senior citizens and people of very low to moderate income. With a strong working knowledge of affordable housing development and management, we have created over 8,100 units of affordable housing in 91 separate rental communities located in California, Colorado, Texas, and North Carolina. Each of these communities is uniquely tailored to meet the needs of its residents.
