Mission Statement

Gun Violence Survivors Foundation exists to help those affected by gun violence in America. Our mission is to support Survivors and their family members by providing items and services, or the funds needed to acquire such necessities, to help promote mental and emotional healing.

Description

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in Pennsylvania on January 2nd of 2013. As GVS Foundation grows, we aim to help survivors of gun violence across America.

Our Foundation wants to assist Survivors obtain certain services and goods, to grant them the time and ability heal mentally and emotionally. Gun Violence Survivors Foundation will support both the immediate and long-term needs of Survivors to better assist them through the difficult greiving process.

We are eager to unveil a method of donating to create a conduit between Surviors and Donors, and thus allowing a donor to see how and what their contribution is being used for. We will address the individual needs of Survivors by creating a system for which donations may be made to specific goods or services to allow an individual donor to realize the immediate impact their contribution made in the life of a Survivor of gun violence.

GVS Foundation will help survivors find the resources they need in order to return towards a life of normalcy by providing necessary goods and services required on their journey to heal.
