Mission Statement

Shenandoah County Parks and Recreation serves county residents of all ages and abilities and provides programs, activities, bus trips, and special events throughout the year. The department also operates Shenandoah County Park which provides sports fields, picnic shelters, walking trails, tennis courts, and more.

Description

The Shenandoah County Parks and Recreation was commissioned in September of 1974 by the Shenandoah County Board of Supervisors. Shenandoah County is home to approximately 38,000 residents and includes the Towns of Toms Brook, Strasburg, Woodstock, Edinburg, New Market, and Mt. Jackson.
