Mission Statement

The Purpose of the Interfaith Council of Greater Richmond is to develop understanding, respect and cooperation among the various religious faiths.

Description

This multi-cultural, interfaith celebration features entertainment, arts and crafts, food, exhibits, and activities and crafts for children. Now in its 9th year, the first Family Peace Festival was held in response to the attacks of September 11, 2001. Its mission is to bring together youth and adults to celebrate peace and diversity and to build community and understanding in the Richmond area.
