Mission Statement

The primary objectives and purposes of the Institute are to educate consumers and allied health professionals in biomechanical principles, diagnoses, treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries and malalignments in adolescents and adults. We seek to improve the quality of biomechanical performance while enhancing and promoting adolescent and adult active lifestyles.
Our team of professionals takes great pride in changing the history of biomechanics by applying innovative theory and principles.
We further accomplish our mission objectives by sharing our latest clinical and research findings through publication of findings in related peer-reviewed journals and through Continuing Medical Education Opportunities.

"Preventing Juvenile Obesity, Diabetes And Amputations With Knowledge!

Description

We are a group of healthcare practitioners whose desire is to develop the first not-for-profit pedorthic biomechanics school. Our focus is education in topics of obesity, diabetes and the prevention of malalignment and musculoskeletal injuries that will arise from the epidemic of diabetes to the adults and youth of our country.

With the donation of the Historical City Hall building by Mayor Taylor of Elwood, Indiana and the Elwood Historical Society, we are well on our way to having a firm foundation in reaching our goals. Just as the foot is the foundation to the upper structure, it is through "Support" that we are able to support others in our attempt to keep their bodies aligned correctly!

Always, helping people...step by step...
