Description

The Free Clinic of Rockingham County is a non-profit organization which means it relies upon private donations and charitable trusts and foundations to financially support your quality care. Providing essential medical and dental care at no cost to the patient is an extremely expensive endeavor. The Clinic was founded in May 1998 thanks to the vision of Dr. Paul A. Mabe, Jr., a local retired physician, and a long range planning committee at First Baptist Church in Reidsville. FCRC was built by well over 100 dedicated community members who believed in increasing access to quality healthcare for the working uninsured in Reidsville. In October 2005, FCRC's original 6 mile radius was expanded to include all of Rockingham County.
