Housing Corporation of America

HCA's goals and objectives include the following:

  • HCA believes in the concept of providing individuals and families an opportunity to obtain attractive, quality, affordable housing.

  • HCA believes that the children of its multi-family communities deserve more opportunity. HCA endeavors to offer amenities within its developments that consist of computer/resource centers, mini libraries, literacy programs, tutoring and computer training.

  • HCA believes that residents should be offered a "hand-up" not a "hand-out" and encourages community involvement within its multi-family properties in ensuring the development remains a safe, positive environment for the residents.

  • HCA believes that programs should be offered within its multi-family developments that are tailored to meet the needs with that community. Such programs include English as a second language class, drug awareness counseling, anger management, crime prevention, and intergenerational mentoring programs.
