SAFE (Safety Awareness for Everyone) is a SAFE collaborates with nonprofit, community-based organizations working to improve the public safety of our communities through safety education and neighborhood empowerment efforts. We work with the community and the police to create safe and vibrant neighborhoods.
Mission Statement
San Francisco SAFE, Inc. is committed to the belief that everyone who lives, works and visits in San Francisco has the right to be safe. We work towards preventing crime and violence and improving the quality of life in San Francisco's neighborhoods by bringing communities and resources together. We create strategies to increase public safety awareness by facilitating neighborhood watch groups, providing safety presentations for all age groups, security strategies for businesses, and providing outreach and resources to people citywide. SAFE acts as a liaison between communities and the San Francisco Police Department.
