Mission Statement

Mission: To prepare today's youth to be tomorrow's leaders

Vision: Provide a steady flow of young leaders who make a positive difference in the lives of others

Purpose: Leadership development for young people-Develop-Build-Empower & Support

Our aim is to support at risk youth to become their BEST-by Building Essential Skills and Talents as they experience lessons of life. Our youth will become community and global leaders and citizens. Our older Ambassadors will train other incoming youth to drive innovative solutions for new projects and endeavors. Our plans are to prepare them for college and career choices as they work to become part of a positive heritage that will help transform their communities.

Description

Youth Profile: The majority of the youth participating in the San Diego Ambassador's Program live in Urban Communities, come from first generation college families and are underserved and unprepared to meet today’s challenges. Many of the Ambassadors are raised in single parent home environments and in some cases raised by a grandparent. They are bright and eager to help others and to be a part of making the world a better place for all.
