Description

Volunteers4Humanity was officially founded on May 15, 2013.
Our mission is to provide free health care to areas of need both domestic and international.

On medical missions abroad, volunteers will work with our health care practitioners to provide care. Volunteers do not have to have any specific background or field of study in healthcare to participate.

Welcome to Volunteers4Humanity

With our time conscious missions, we are an ideal choice for:

1. "First Time Volunteers" leaving the USA.

2. Health Care Practitioners that have always wanted to participate on a mission, however they did not have the time.

3. Volunteers that desire to have autonomy when selecting a volunteer assignment.

*All overseas missions are fully vetted, to our satisfaction, with the Government of the Host country and either the US State Department or the US Embassy before we commit to any mission abroad. (So mom it is ok!)

*All volunteers requiring financial assistance will be provided with information on basic fund raising techniques.

I recommend them because they are organized. When I went to the office, I was alittle concerned because the office was brand new, but small. I thought organizations would be really large. What I found out was that the size of the office has nothing to do with the size of the organizers heart. The Director over volunteers, Kim, provided a tour, reading materials, and advice. In the summer, my goal is to come on a mission with them. If you have to do volunteer service and want kindness and safety, I highly recommend Volunteers for Humanity.

The Four S's: Safety, Security, Serenity and Selflessness -We felt safe knowing that V4 had professionals working in Uganda. The area of Africa provided domestic serenity. The beautiful wildlife made for a tranquil mission. The people of Lira would help anyone. They made sure we had what we needed and they looked out for us. I love the spirit of the Ugandan children. This is a must do cause,

They provide short mission opportunity for everyone. 1st class professionals will teach you have to care for people in different parts of the world. The organization raises money to keep the cost of volunteering abroad to a minimum.
