Mission Statement

The Mission of Schola Cantorum is to celebrate the joy of singing with our community: by performing choral music of all styles, including masterpieces and commissioned works; by educating and inspiring our singers and audiences; and by encouraging community members of all ages to experience, appreciate and participate in choral music activities.

Description

Schola Cantorum was founded in 1964 by the late Royal Stanton and is an adult, auditioned chorus of more than 100 members. The Music Director, Gregory Wait, is on the faculty of the Stanford University Music Department.
