Southern Rhode Island Volunteers
Southern Rhode Island Volunteers shall provide a supportive foundation to volunteers in service throughout the southern geographic 1/3 of the State of Rhode Island by offering quality, meaningful, and appropriate opportunities through active recruitment, orientation & credentialing, training & placement, follow-up management, and recognition to volunteers and by assisting community partner sites with varied missions addressing community issues in part through volunteers and ultimately improving the quality of life for the whole community.
Southern Rhode Island Volunteers’, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, mission is to improve the quality of life in Washington County, Jamestown, East and West Greenwich Rhode Island in two vital ways:
SRI Volunteers provides active adults with a broad range of rewarding volunteer service opportunities addressing community needs, and
SRI Volunteers provides elderly individuals and others in need of independent living assistance with support that helps them to remain in their own homes.
