Mission Statement

The mission of the City of Reno Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) is to provide excellent parks, recreation and cultural opportunities that enhance our community. We interpret our mission to provide those opportunities to all citizens of all abilities. Including persons with disabilities in that mission is a natural part of our responsibility to the community. By using inclusion as the common denominator in our service provision, the City of Reno is working diligently to provide equal access to the opportunities stated in our mission.
