We help kids to weld and build art bikes and cars through our interactive programs, as well as recently implementing a digital literacy program that allows our students to learn computer hardware, software, and exciting technological innovations. We are always looking for partnerships and volutneers to help art reach and teach the underserved community members in and around Chattanooga.

What is an art car or art bike?
This functional form of art is basically a kinetic sculpture aka moveable art on wheels. It can be a car, a bike, or a completely new contraption. An art car can run on fossil fuel as well as greener resources like solar, electric, or even human locomotion. Art cars are created as a way to address social issues, instill community pride, push the limits of technology as well as artistic self-expression.
