Mission Statement

The Jannie R. Jackson Women's Center mission is to assist women and girls in the State of South Carolina transition to successful independence through educational enhancement, supportive services and a comprehenisve network of community support.

Description

We are seeking volunteers to support our community based programs which provide educational enrichment, employment and training, and supportive services.

These volunteers will serve as mentors, tutors, teachers, and community organizers who will provided needed support to women and girls, pregnant and teen parents, and girls who are seeking educational excellence.

Volunteers will receive training and specific assignments in the above mentioned categories. A brochure containing a listing of these opportunities can be forwarded by email.
