Hands On Denver Offers the community opportunites to give back to their parks and recreational systems. We offor several programs and special events. The organization is a management branch of Denver Parks. Annually the Hands On Denver programs enlist over 5,000 volunteers. Projects and programs serve the 230 parks, 14,000 acres of Mountain Parks and over 110 miles of trails. youth and senior serving programs use volunteers at the 30 recreation centers.
Mission Statement
The volunteer program of Denver Parks & Recreation is called, "Hands On Denver". The purpose is to foster stewardship toward Denver Parks, provide quality volunteer opportunities, and improver our park and recreational systems.
