Mission Statement

The 22nd annual Safeway Barbecue Battle will be held June 21 (11a-9p) and June 22 (11a-730p) on Pennsylvania Avenue between 9th and 14th streets, NW in the nation's capitol. Significant proceeds from the event will be donated to the Butler Wyatt Clubhouse #2, DC Food Bank, and USO.

Description

The Safeway Barbecue Battle introduces local and national crowds to barbecue teams and restaurants competing for a national title, cash, and prizes. Throughout both days, there will be loads of food, giveaways, and onstage entertainment.
