Mission Statement

To be Christ-centered and an all-inclusive multicultural and multiracial community of faith that promotes worship and lithurgy through the Holy Spirit, and relying on the word of God to empower all who seek the Lord Jesus Christ, His fellowship, presence and love.

We welcome and serve all people who desire Christ Jesus and the salvation through Him. We endorse the Thirty-nine Articles of Religion in the Book of Common Prayer and treasure the rich heritage and doctrine of the early Church.

Our Congregation is made up of people from different countries in Africa, Europe and North America.

But we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to the Jews and foolishness to the Gentiles, but to those who God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God (1 Cor. 1:23)

God is our refuge and strength and very present help in trouble. The Lord Almighty is with us. (Psalm 46:1)

2014 Slogan: Year of Divine Visitation (Psalm 46:1)

I would recommend the Church of the Resurrection in Indianapolis because I know your Bishop is a man of God who walks the walk and lives according to God's word as much as it is possible for a human being. He willingly gives up his comforts and conveniences when God calls him to help a friend; he shares all he can to live according to the purposes of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Meeting him and watching him live his Faith blesses so many. May God continue to bless the Bishop and his church!
