Project Nightlight uses short films, music, and apparel to grab kids attention and inspire them to speak out against abuse . We provide volunteer guest speakers, public service announcements, and printed materials to educate both children and adults on the recognizing and reporting abuse. All of this with hip attitude! We are working hard to change the negative social stigma associated with talking about abuse. Children should feel empowered to report abuse, not hide it because they are ashamed .
We also work with the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services to provide foster children with much needed items, such as clothing, blankets, and toiletries and most of all, support and love. We have various programs for these kids, including animal therapy for those medically fragile children who must live their lives in hospitals.
Mission Statement
Project Nightlight's mission is to inspire children to overcome abuse.
