It is the Homestead Hospice mission to lessen the burden of a life-limiting illness and ease the pain along the way. In every action and every visit Homestead Hospice will: Provide quality end of life care that is both sensitive and compassionate Provide support, education and guidance for patients and families Promote independence and dignity while providing spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial peace For to those who much is given, much is required; thus, it is our commitment and honor to serve the hospice needs of patients and their families.

Our hospice volunteers come from every walk of life. They play a crucial role within our team.

Our volunteers are able to provide quality, compassionate care through assisstance with many challenges of a terminal illness.

Our volunteers offer companionship, respite care, office support and bereavement care.

Volunteering with Homestead has been a very rewarding experience for me. I can really see the difference small acts of kindness can make for the patients and the appreciation from them and their families. The staff is great; they are very caring and supportive to both their patients and one another.
