Description

Our Memory Care neighborhood is an assisted living facility where ~20 residents live, all with some type of dementia, mainly Alzheimer's Disease. We work to keep their independence and dignity with a variety of activities.

They enjoy all types of activities, especially entertainment from children or teenagers. The changes in cognition that our residents experience can be a challenge, but a are a great lesson for volunteers. After spending some time here, you learn to appreciate all the blessings that most people take for granted.

We welcome anyone to come spend time with our residents, and we are flexible with volunteer opportunities.
